Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rinvy ("the Service"), operated by Rinvy ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page.

2. Description of Service

Rinvy is a restaurant inventory management application that helps restaurant owners, managers, and staff track inventory counts, receive product deliveries, manage recipes and prep work, and analyze costs. The Service is available via web browser and native mobile applications.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Rinvy offers multiple subscription tiers, including a free tier. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Subscription fees are stated at the time of purchase and may be updated with reasonable advance notice. Fees are non-refundable except as described in Section 6.

5. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for paid subscription tiers. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. You may cancel a trial at any time through the Billing page.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the Manage Billing portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.

We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at support@rinvy.app within 30 days of the charge.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to third parties

8. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including restaurant information, product catalogs, inventory counts, recipes, and financial data. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.

You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@rinvy.app. We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by Rinvy and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rinvy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@rinvy.app. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
