Restaurant groups

If you run more than one location, a restaurant group puts your kitchens under a single umbrella. Each kitchen keeps its own products, counts, recipes, team, and reports exactly as before — grouping them only unlocks the cross-kitchen Group report, which rolls up all of them side by side.

Groups are managed under Kitchen Settings → Organization, in the kitchen you're currently in. Every action is anchored on that kitchen, and Rinvy requires you to be its Owner (and the Owner of any kitchen you add or remove).

Create a group

Open Kitchen Settings and pick the Organization section. If the current kitchen isn't in a group yet, you'll see Group your kitchens — give the group a name (e.g. "Downtown Group") and tap Create group. The kitchen you're in is added to it automatically.

A kitchen can belong to only one group at a time, so you can't create a group from a kitchen that's already in one.

Add and remove kitchens

Once a group exists, the Organization panel lists every kitchen you own under Kitchens in this group, with the current kitchen tagged · this kitchen:

• Add — puts one of your kitchens into the group.
• Remove — takes it back out.
• A kitchen already in a different group shows In another group instead of an Add button. Remove it from that group first — Rinvy won't silently move a kitchen out from under another group's members.

Only kitchens you own appear here. You can't add a kitchen you're a Manager or Staff member of, and adding a kitchen never changes anyone's role on it.

Removing the group's last kitchen deletes the now-empty group entirely. To disband a group, remove every kitchen from it; the group name disappears with the last one.

Rename a group

With a group in place, edit the Group name field and tap Save name. The new name shows on the Reports Group tab and everywhere the group is referenced.

Currencies across the group

Each kitchen keeps its own currency and number format. On the Group report, every kitchen's row renders in its own currency; the group total only reads as a single figure when the kitchens share one currency. If they don't, the report flags that its total mixes currencies. Keep a group on one currency if you want its totals to mean one number.
