Alert history
The dashboard's Needs attention and Worth a look cards show what's wrong right now — an alert disappears from them the moment it's resolved or dismissed. The Alerts report is the record: it answers "what did we get alerted about last month, and how did it end?"
What it shows
Open Reports and pick the Alerts tab. Over the period you select, it lists every alert of these four kinds:

| Price change | A receipt's per-unit cost moved beyond your threshold. |
| Expiration | A receipt lot entered (or passed) its expiration window. |
| Stockout risk | A product is projected to run out before its next delivery. |
| Food cost | A menu item drifted above its target food cost %. |
Each row shows the product or menu item, the figure recorded when the alert fired, when it fired, and how it ended — still active, cleared (the condition stopped being true on its own, e.g. a stockout risk once stock came back), dismissed (and by whom, when a person waved it off), or resolved (and when). The kind chip looks the same here as it does on the dashboard, so a price move or an expiring lot reads identically in both places.
Filtering
Two chip rows narrow the list: one by kind (price / expiration / stockout risk / food cost) and one by outcome (active / cleared / dismissed / resolved). Widen the period at the top of the page to look further back — the list shows the most recent alerts and caps how many it loads at once.
Inventory health findings are separate
Post-count anomaly findings — missing receipts, unlogged waste, count errors — are not in this list. They have their own lifecycle and live on the Health tab (Reports → Health), which the Alerts tab links across to rather than duplicating. See inventory health findings.
What you'll and won't see by plan
The four kinds carry their own gates, so the history simply reflects what your kitchen can generate:
- Price and expiration alerts fire on every plan.
- Stockout risk and food cost drift need Standard or higher — a Free kitchen never generated them, so they won't appear.
There's no plan gate on the report itself: if you can see reports, you can see the history of the alerts your kitchen produced. The tab is rolling out gradually, so it may not appear for every kitchen yet — reach out if you'd like it turned on.

Expecting inventory health findings here
Health findings are on the Reports → Health tab, not the Alerts tab — they're a different kind of signal with their own validation and history.
